Leadership in Energy Efficiency Award
Boise State was awarded the 2022 State of Idaho Leadership in Energy Efficiency Award for Buildings for efficiency projects completed in the Albertsons Library. The projects included a variable frequency drive update and an LED lighting upgrade, for a total annual energy savings of 983,701 kwh and annual cost avoidance of $56,120.
There was an award ceremony in the Capitol Building on Jan. 26th. At the ceremony, the Governor awarded Boise State representatives with a certificate and a plaque.
