A free lending library is open for all current Boise State student veterans and dependents to use, regardless of whether you have VA education benefits or not. Browse the catalog below to see if your textbook is listed — if it’s available, you can borrow it for the semester.
Our library has been stocked 100% by donations from the Boise State campus community. You can help us develop our library by donating your old textbooks. The larger the collection, the more veterans and dependents we can help. We cannot ship books to students, you must be able to pick up your book in person from our office.
- Please fill out this form to request an account. Library personnel will email you once you have been added to the patron list.
- Go to the Veteran Textbook Lending website.
- Select Patron Login, and then select Need Password?.
- Input the email that you gave when requesting access and a password will be emailed to you. You are now able to place holds on the items available.
Terms and conditions
We will notify you within 3 working days that your book is ready for pick up. Books for the Fall 2020 semester will be distributed starting August 10th, upon our return from summer break. Please have your book(s) picked up within 10 working days. Unless you have made other arrangements, failing to pick up your book(s) within 10 working days will result in re-shelving so other students may borrow the book. Failing to return the textbook by the end of the term will result in a hold being placed on your Financial Aid disbursement until our items are returned.
Thank you for your continued support of our textbook lending library.
Books will not be loaned to anyone who has not returned their books from a previous semester.
