School Meeting

As a reminder, our Fall Meeting is set for Friday, September 27th from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Riverside Hotel. You can view a flyer for the event here. We hope that you can make this event a highest priority. If you have not already done so, please RSVP via the google calendar. If you do need to cancel, we encourage you to let us know ahead of time so that we can plan accordingly.

In our meeting, we will be brainstorming opportunities for strengthening research infrastructure and support, collaboration across departments, and opportunities to strengthen internal and external communication. We look forward to seeing you all there!

HSRV Building Movements

You may have noticed recent changes in the Health Science Riverside building (HSRV), including the loss of a computer classroom for future office space.

In April the department heads (CEH, RESP CARE, RADSCI) together with Genetic Counseling and the School Director met to discuss options for office space needs in HSRV. The following changes were recommended by chairs and approved by the college and university:  HSRV Classroom 200 will ultimately become the office space for the School of Allied Health Science and the Genetic Counseling program. Room 123 has been vacated for a CEH office, and Room 124 will be vacated next Fall, also to be available for use by CEH. Suite 210 is now available for RESP CARE. Room 138 was converted into an MRI lab, thereby vacating Room 133 for a RADSCI office.

On behalf of the Chairs and School Director, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused those of you teaching in Room HSRV 200. We continue to do our best to mitigate the impacts of our growing programs on our space, and appreciate you indulging us as we work through all of these issues.

Technical Support

We’d just like to remind you that our office is available to provide technical web support for any departments needing help with updating web content, redesigning pages, etc. For any questions, or to request web maintenance, please contact Kristy Grabert.

Welcome, Justin!

Justin Doi recently joined the Department of Community & Environmental Health as an Administrative Assistant II, beginning on August 12th, 2019. Justin is a recent graduate from Boise State with a B.S. in Political Science.
