Join Our Community

Members of Boise State’s professional and academic communities actively collaborate around open education initiatives. If you’re interested in getting involved, complete our OER Consultation Form or contact the Albertsons Library OER team at OER@boisestate.edu.

Boise State OER Group

Faculty, students, and staff come together to discuss strategies for supporting OER. Whether they join in-person or online, those who contribute to this community of practice shape the landscape of open and affordable learning at Boise State.

The Open Textbook Network

Boise State is a member of the OTN, a higher education community of over 800 campuses. The OTN specializes in offering professional development to faculty and staff as well as creating guides and piloting collaborations between member institutions.

IOPEN

IOPEN calls unite open education advocates from across the Northwest. We never know who is going to attend or where our 30-minute conversations will lead us. Since early 2017, members have earned OER fellowships, advised statewide policy, and built resources to aid multiple institutions.
