Supporting Broncos
For Allie (’11 and ’20) and Geo (’09), being part of the Bronco family has always meant something special. As proud and engaged alumni, they wanted to help passionate students become Broncos for life.
That’s why they created the Bronco Family Scholarship: to support students who are excited to attend Boise State but may not qualify for other types of scholarships or financial aid. Since financial support often influences a student’s college decision, they wanted to help make Boise State that choice.
Scholarship Criteria
To be considered for the Bronco Family Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have a maximum cumulative GPA of 3.5
- Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits or nine graduate credits)
- Must attend one Boise State Alumni Association board meeting per year, as well as other key alumni events
- Must demonstrate financial need as determined by your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Submit a video sharing why you want to be connected to Boise State, why being part of the Bronco family is important to you and how you plan to stay connected to Boise State after completing your degree. The video does not have to feature you directly. Preference will be given to creative videos.
