Day of Dialogue

The Day of Dialogue, in concert with the Distinguished Lecture Series, is an opportunity for the campus community to engage with difficult topics.  In preparation for the Distinguished Lecture Series on March 13, three Day of Dialogue events are focused on the themes found in DLS speaker Jonathan Haidt’s work.

Student Mental Health Roundtable and Resource Fair

Bishop Barnwell Room, Student Union

In partnership with the Dean of Students, the Department of Psychology, and Student Health Services, IAAV will host a roundtable on student mental health and a resource fair for services on campus addressing mental health and student well-being.  Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend.  Lunch provided.  RSVP here.

 

Student Forum on Mental Health

The IAAV Undergraduate Fellows will host a Student Forum focused on the question: “Are we the anxious generation?”  Pizza provided.  Find out information about the student forums here. 

 

Film Screening of Coddling of the American Mind

In partnership with the Boise State HxA Academy Campus Community, this screening of the film Coddling of the American Mind builds on and explores themes in the book by the same title, co-authored by Jonathan Haidt.
