Important Dates For Voters

Campaigning Begins | Friday, March 15th

  • This is when candidates will first begin publicly campaigning. Keep an eye out for posters, emails, and more as election candidates reach out to voters for their support!

Election Debates | Thursday, March 28th, 6:00-8:00PM (Student Union Building: Bishop Barnwell Room)

  • Candidates for President/Vice President and Review Board Chief will have the opportunity to debate one another in front of an audience so that students can see where they stand on our most pressing issues. Be sure to attend or tune in so you can see the debate for yourself!

Voting Begins | Wednesday, April 3rd, 12:00AM MST (Online)

  • All Boise State students who are eligible to vote will receive an email containing a link to their ballot so they can cast their votes. Voters may rank candidates for each race in the order of their preference (“1” for 1st preference, “2” for 2nd, etc.) rather than choosing a single candidate.

Voting Ends | Thursday, April 4th, 11:59PM MST (Online)

  • Students have two days to vote so that everybody has a chance to cast their ballot.

Election Results Announced | Wednesday, April 5th (Online)

  • Results will be announced at the same time to all students via email during the day once they have been reviewed.

Inauguration Ceremony | Thursday, April 11th 6:00-8:00PM MST (Student Union Building, Special Events Center)

  • Elected officials will be inaugurated and sworn into office for the next school year. Be sure to attend so you can meet your new ASBSU leadership!
