Project BoB: Blogging with Biologists

Our lab is proud to participate in Project BoB: Blogging with Biologists.  BoB pairs graduate and undergraduate student researchers with 5th graders in Mary Anderson’s classroom at Cedar Grove-Belgium Elementary school.  Researchers and students have blog discussions about research, biology, and careers in science.  The elementary students complete common core writing assignments and produce a book at the end of the project.  College students gain valuable experience communicating about their complex research projects to diverse audiences.  This project was started with support from NSF award (DEB 1145552).
