Undergraduate research opportunities:

The White Mycology Lab has excellent opportunities for motivated undergraduates. Opportunities range from field collecting and dissecting of gut fungi to using molecular techniques and DNA sequencing. Other possibilities include website development and maintenance to data management. Students interested in a career in science are encouraged to design and develop their own research projects or become involved in ongoing projects in the lab that otherwise suit their needs and match their interest. Whether you are simply interested in developing sound laboratory skills or you prefer to take greater responsibility and are willing to collaborate and take a lead in data collecting and analyses with publications, your interest is welcome. Some competitive funding may be available to support research in the Biology Department and through other programs at Boise State University.
