The Gut Fungi Lab at Boise State University consists of two major areas of focus:

Areas of Focus

• The Morphology Lab
  • From field to clean hood, we collect, dissect, and rear hosts for gut fungi, as well as culture and preserve fungi for experiments and the culture collection.

• The Molecular Lab
  • The state of the art research facility where we examine the evolutionary history of gut fungi and protistan endosymbionts of hosts.
