Golden Eagle Audubon Society – Service Project

The Student Involvement and Leadership Center is teaming up with the Golden Eagle Audubon Society for a one day service project on Saturday, Oct 9 from 9:00 to 1:00.
Join in on a fun and rewarding project serving our native wildlife right here in Boise! You will learn more about what is being done in our area to conserve native species while also being a part of the process of protecting them.
You will work with a team of volunteers to prepare three restoration sites for planting projects later in October. Tasks to support native plants include weeding and placing mulch around the restoration sites. While working, you will also learn about the history of the Boise River, invasive weeds, and the importance of native plants. This project is being led by a team of local conservation organizations and government agencies, including the Golden Eagle Audubon Society.
Space is limited! Please RSVP here: Link to Engage Event
