Maranda Cantrell and Alejandro Soto, both current Ph.D. students, recently published “Repurposing Drugs to Treat Heart and Brain Illness” in the June 2021 edition of Pharmaceuticals from MDPI. In this paper, they propose to repurpose drugs with FDA approval for different illnesses using computational screening methods.
