A Better Way to Analyze Milk Proteins

A cross-department Boise State collaboration with Computer Science and Chemistry recently published in Foods, a peer-reviewed journal that is a part of MDPI (Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute). Dr. Tim Anderson and his graduate student Habeeb Abolaji Babatunde in Computer Science have been working with Dr. Owen McDougal (BMOL Faculty) and his BMOL graduate student Joseph Collins. Their manuscript, SVR Chemometrics to Quantify β-Lactoglobulin and α-Lactalbumin in Milk Using MIR, illuminates the best way to qualitative and quantitate β-lactoglobulin and α-lactalbumin, two important milk proteins with bioactive properties.
