Biztech Mission
Global BizTech provides a diverse opportunity for students to understand and begin to master the interplay between the scholarly, cultural, political and economic levels at play in Asia and the world. Through an interconnected experience, a small cohort of motivated students bridge the gap between Boise State University and Taiwan by establishing long-term friendships and lasting partnerships with Taiwanese stakeholders. At the core of this program, our goal is to create a foundational understanding of how to work effectively in Asia.
Program Layout
Recruiting & Acceptance: Begin learning about Biztech. Get to know future and past cohort members. Join the program!
Program Preparations in Boise: Begin building knowledge of Asia and explore internship opportunities, get to know your cohort, and meet with Taiwanese students in Boise.
Academic Experience in Taichung: Learn about history, economics, culture, institutions, and the Chinese Language. Experience learning in the classroom and on field trips in various locations.
Immersive Internship Experience: Work with leading firms or organizations in different places around Taiwan.
Return to Boise and implement your learnings!
