First Friday Astronomy presents “A New Surprise in the Accelerating Expansion of the Universe”

Join Boise State Physics on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Building (LART), Room 106, for the free and public event “A New Surprise in the Accelerating Expansion of the Universe” with Alex Filippenko, distinguished professor, UC Berkeley.

This lecture will be live-streamed on Youtube at boi.st/AstroBroncosLive. Those attending the live-stream are welcome and encouraged to ask questions via chat.

After the lecture we will stargaze in Boise State’s observatory, weather permitting. An indoor planetarium may be set up in case stargazing is not an option.
