Research and Creative Activity Hub
The Research and Creative Activity Hub, also known as the RCA Hub, promotes the healthy, meaningful, sustainable, and inclusive growth of research and creative activity within the College of Arts and Sciences, by providing resources to faculty, postdocs, and graduate students that support scholarship.
What We Do
Our team of RCA administrators provides administrative support for extramural funds management, both on the front-end by assisting with proposal preparation, and on the back-end by assisting with accounting, hiring, purchasing, and travel. We help you build community across campus, highlight current research and creative activities, and provide resources that help with the communication of scholarship. We work closely with the Division of Research and Economic Development to help you navigate funding opportunities, connect you with grant strategists, and to let you know about opportunities for training in effective proposal writing. To create a safe working environment in research labs, studios, and in the field we provide resources that help you create the standard operating procedures and guidelines that work for your flavor of research and creative activity. If you are interested in using our resources or have questions about RCA in COAS, don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to working with you!
