Jeff Kummer

Jeff Kummer

Managing Director, Tax Policy, Washington National Tax, Deloitte Tax LLP

Jeff has over 22 years of experience in the tax policy arena and is currently responsible for communicating emerging tax developments in the U.S. Congress, the Internal Revenue Service and Treasury Department, and the federal courts to the Firm and its clients. Jeff oversees the content development of Tax News & Views as well as thought leadership publications on issues such as the U.S. deficit and fundamental tax reform.

His Capitol Hill experience includes working on tax and budget issues for former U.S. Senator and Senate Finance Committee member Steve Symms, R-Idaho.

Jeff holds a BS in Political Science from the University of Idaho and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.

Roy Matsunaga

Audit Senior Manager, Deloitte & Touche LLP

Roy is an Audit Senior Manager with over 12 years of experience in Deloitte’s Portland office, serving public and private clients primarily in the Power, Utilities, & Renewables sector. Roy is part of Deloitte’s ESG Champion network representing the Portland office and the PU&R sector. He has previously served in the Audit Analytics group and the National Audit & Assurance Faculty facilitating various accounting and audit topics.

 

 

Kaitlyn Kuczer

Consulting Senior Manager, Deloitte Consulting LLP

Kaitlyn Kuczer has over 12 years of experience in emerging technology, is passionate about
incorporating new technologies into business strategy and using these technologies to responsibly develop new digital solutions. Kaitlyn is an Unlimited Reality Sr. Manager who has been with Deloitte for nearly 8 years. She manages the delivery of Metaverse experiences to clients and manages developing customer strategies, experiences, and applications that leverage emerging technologies (e.g., Robotics, IoT, Blockchain, Drones, etc.)

Wayne Ipsen

Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, Live Ventures Inc.

Wayne Ipsen currently serves as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary at Live Ventures Incorporated (“Live”). For the 18 years prior to joining Live, Mr. Ipsen was an attorney at US Ecology Inc., most recently serving as its Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining US Ecology Inc., he was an attorney at Elam & Burke P.A., a law firm in Boise, Idaho, and a tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Seattle, Washington office. Mr. Ipsen earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accountancy (Tax), both from Brigham Young University, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho. He and his wife Katie live in Boise and have four daughters.

Calen Beaudoin

ESG Client Coordinator, Nasdaq OneReport

Calen has five years of experience in ESG reporting and currently serves as an ESG Client Coordinator for Nasdaq OneReport, a part of Nasdaq’s Corporate ESG Solutions to assist organizations in reporting to frameworks, standards and rating organizations. Prior to Nasdaq Calen served as an ESG Analyst for US Ecology and was first introduced to ESG when reporting for the College of Business and Economics, the School of Public Service and the College of Health Sciences at Boise State University.

Ashley Griesshammer 

Controller, Lovevery

Ashley Griesshammer is the Controller at Lovevery, a high-growth children’s subscription eCommerce company based in Boise, Idaho. Prior to joining Lovevery, Ashley served as Director of Finance for a children’s retail business, and a family private equity office. Ashley is a licensed CPA, CMA, and CSCA. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a Master’s in Accounting from Grand Valley State University. She is a 2021 Excellence in Finance winner from the Idaho Business Review, and was named Floqast’s Controller of the Year for 2022.
