Congratulations to Brian Von Herbulis, of our current EMBA cohort, for being selected as a winner of the 2017 Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge.

In the technology, consumer product, or service track, $15,000 was awarded to Von Herbulis’ company Silent Arrow, a biodegradable, heavy-payload, autonomous delivery unmanned aerial vehicle designed to inexpensively carry up to 750 pounds of supplies in support of humanitarian relief and military operations. Brian Von Herbulis is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps and student enrolled in Boise State University’s Executive MBA program.

The Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge, a statewide venture competition that aims to stimulate entrepreneurship in the Gem State, took place last month at Boise State University.  Starting with more than 70 applications and 8 schools, they were able to narrow the competition to 26 finalists.  Winning teams take home a share of $100,000 in seed funding for their company.
