Dr. Kirsten Davis joined the Construction Management Department of the College of Engineering at Boise State in January 2007. She received her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering specializing in Construction Engineering and Management from Virginia Tech. She received her master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado – Boulder and bachelor’s degrees in Architecture and Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Between her bachelors’ and master’s degrees, Dr. Davis worked in a joint architecture/civil engineering position at the Sear-Brown Group in Albany, NY for several years, where she worked on a variety of assignments, including public school design, construction administration, and highway engineering. Prior to coming to Boise State, she was an Assistant Professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. She is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Registered Architect, both in the state of New York.
