Shrestha and Spezzano win Best Reproducibility Paper Award

Computing PhD student Anu Shrestha and CS Assistant Professor Dr. Francesca Spezzano were awarded a Best Reproducibility Paper Award at the 43rd European Conference on Information Retrieval for their paper, “Textual Characteristics of News Title and Body to Detect Fake News: A Reproducibility Stud.” IEEE. The ECIR conference is the premier European forum for the presentation of new research results in the broadly conceived area of Information Retrieval (IR), and has a strong focus on the active participation of early-career researchers.
