The Computer Science Department at Boise State University plays a pivotal role in the high-tech community.  Industry and community are vital to the Department’s mission to provide a high-quality education in computer science.  Part of the Computer Science Department’s outreach initiatives involves state agencies, private companies, and other institutions of higher education as part of the Idaho Technology Council’s Software Alliance.  This coalition of private and public interests is focused on expanding the economic vitality of the state by increasing the availability of skilled software professionals and promoting the opportunities available in the State’s rapidly growing software industry.  Together with its partners, the Computer Science Department at Boise State University works to support collaboration, growth, and innovation.
