Biography
Carlos Berrocal is a PhD student in Computing at Boise State University, focusing on AI and machine learning for Physical AI through hardware-software co-design. He holds a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s in ECE with minors in Applied Math and CS. Carlos has 10+ years of engineering experience in storage systems and semiconductors and currently works as a Software/Hardware Performance Analysis Engineer at HPE, contributing to system-level investigations, identifying bottlenecks, and areas for optimization.
