Interdisciplinary research shapes the research leaders of tomorrow.
The Center for Research and Creative Activity (CRCA) recognizes the strength that comes from investing and building cross-disciplinary networks, so we piloted a program to teach researchers:
- concrete skills
- tool development
- practical implementation
- structured cross-disciplinary network building
- and facilitated road mapping of an interdisciplinary research portfolio.
Accelerator Model
We employ an accelerator model to invest in individuals and teams across the Boise State University campus. This offers participants a detailed focus within the team science training, faculty research leadership, and strategic visioning spaces. In doing so, we facilitate cross-disciplinary thinking, interdisciplinary science, and overall culture change.
By taking a holistic approach to lift team prosperity and overall success, we can sustainably accelerate funding opportunities, team advancement and enable personal and team growth with a strong trajectory to a brighter future.
