BRONCO SHIELD

Each year in the BRONCO SHIELD program, scholars receive comprehensive financial support, which includes:

• Full tuition and fees coverage
• A stipend of $27,000 for undergraduates and $37,000 for graduate students
• Up to $6,000 annually dedicated to  professional development and health insurance

To enhance skills and help prepare students for the real-world challenges in the field, scholars’ will participate in the following:

• Specialty CyberAI classes:
  • VIP 400/500
  • CS 440/540 AI for Cybersecurity
• Work with a local government partner to gain real cybersecurity work experience
• CyberAI Seminars and Club
• Compete at cybersecurity competitions

This program supports the professional growth of scholars through:

• Exclusive invitation to attend CyberCorps SFS Job Fair in Washington D.C. each year in the program
• 1:1 or small group meetings with government recruiters
• Trips to local government agencies to network with recruiters, do resume review and mock interviews

The BRONCO SHIELD program offers financial assistance to scholars pursuing industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications. These certifications demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous professional development and significantly enhance scholars’ qualifications in a competitive job market.
