ARTSCI 297/497: The Digital Passport – Exploring Emerging Technology and Innovation

The Digital Passport introduces students to the evolving world of digital creativity, technology and innovation by combining in-person and online experiences. The course can be completed fully online or fully in person. How it works:

  • Attend a total of 7 events throughout the semester, such as hackathons, virtual exhibitions, tech talks, webinars, VR events and more
  • Submit a reflection for each attended event
  • Participate in online discussions
  • Submit a final digital reflection that synthesizes your learning

ARTSCI 297/497 is a 1-credit class held online and in person. Open to all—no prerequisites required.

IDS 397 Special Topics: What does it mean to be human in a digital era?

It’s no secret that excessive smartphone use is associated with a flood of mental disorders. How do we help people use their phones with intention?

In this course choose how you want to unplug and explore special topics like the science behind savoring life’s experiences, creativity and well-being in a hyper-connected world and more.

IDS 397 is a 3-credit class, in person and on campus. Open to all—no prerequisites required.
