Beginning at 1 pm on 1 December 2011 in the Bishop Barnwell Room in the Student Union Building, the Department of Geosciences invites the public to the dissertation defense of Ms. Emily Hinz, candidate for the degree of PhD in Geophysics, working under Dr. John Bradford. Ms. Hinz will present an oral defense of her dissertation – Utilizing Electrical Conductivity for Characterizing Hydrogeologic Properties. The presentation should last 45 minutes and will be followed by a short period for public questions.
