How to: Sharing Research News

Hello Campus Community!

We have important news regarding the submission of requests for research news items on Update. Our team has created a Research News Request Form for Boise State faculty, staff and students to use in order to request a research-related news item to be published in campus news. Requests made through this form will be published on the Boise State campus news, the Division of Research website, and in additional venues as applicable.

This form is part of a strategy to ensure the timely and efficient communication and promotion of your research news stories, and is intended to be used in place of individual email requests.

Are you uncertain how to shape your Research News stories?  Here are some great examples: Anthropology lecturer awarded grant from Culture and Animals Foundation , Two students advance volcano research with Jack Kleinman Memorial Fund support , and INL awards funding to Black for microreactor research.

We encourage you to share this new request form with your faculty, students and colleagues, and bookmark it for ease of access! The form can also be found on the Boise State campus news ‘contact us’ page, the Division of Research home page, and upon request.

Thank you so much for your assistance as we begin this new process. If you have any questions or comments, please reach out to Brianne Phillips at briannephillips@boisestate.edu.
