Congrats to Hannah, Karen and Boise State for a great representation at GSA!

From Jen Pierce:

“I wanted to give a shout out to all our faculty, staff and students for great presentations at the Geological Society of America meeting last week. You made Boise State proud.

In particular, I would like to recognize Karen Viskupic, who received the award for the Journal of Geoscience Education Outstanding Paper of the Year* for her paper entitled, “Comparing desired workforce skills and reported teaching practices to model students’ experiences in undergraduate geoscience programs” and Hannah Richardson who received the Marie Morisawa Student Research Award from the Quaternary Geology and Geomorphology Division for her proposal, “Off-glacier stream source water contribution variation in the Wolverine Glacier Watershed, Alaska.””

Congrats!
