MA, Education, Curriculum and Instruction

The Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum and Instruction (MACI) degree is designed to advance the professional learning and development for practicing educators. While this degree focuses on the K-12 education landscape in particular, we accept students who identify as educators and work outside of the K-12 systems as well. Students take 4 required core courses, a selection of courses in their elective or cognate interest, and complete a culminating activity, selected from three options. This degree requires completion of a minimum of 30 credits. The MA in Education, Curriculum and Instruction does not lead to initial teacher certification nor does it require certification for admission.

The Master of Arts in Education, Curriculum and Instruction is designed to improve instructional, curricular and leadership skills among practicing educators.
