The Boise State University McNair Scholars Program sponsors trips and special events for students as a means of providing a comprehensive and diverse learning environment. Trip/event participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and positive manner as representatives of Boise State University and the Boise State McNair Scholars Program. As a university sponsored event, the Boise State Student Code of Conduct should guide behavior.
The events the McNair Scholars Program supports are professional events that are to support your scholarly growth. The following are expected of all travelers:
- attend all scheduled events
- behave professionally
- treat program staff and peers with respect
- support your peers in their academic growth
The McNair Program will cover expenses related directly to transportation and lodging—this includes airfare, ground transportation, lodging and food. Students are personally responsible for any additional costs incurred in the course of the trip (including incidental charges to your hotel room for phone calls and services).
If you have any medical concerns, consult with your physician before traveling.
