About VUB Classes
Instruction through Veterans Upward Bound is focused on preparing the veteran for success in his or her next academic venture and is based on individual academic need. Sessions are scheduled based on tutor and veteran availability. There is no cost for this benefit. Books and supplies are provided by VUB. Instruction can be in person, virtual, or any combination. Staff provide ongoing progress evaluations, feedback, and support. The end goal is to help veterans refresh and develop their academic skills needed for success in post-secondary coursework whether that be at a technical school, four-year university, two-year college, or when seeking professional licensure.
