Literacy Lab now enrolling K-12 students for fall 2022 virtual tutoring

Families with children in grades K-12 in any location are invited to enroll in the virtual Boise State Literacy Lab for the fall 2022 semester.

Tutoring will take place virtually via Zoom from 4:30pm-5:30pm MT on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a 10-week session beginning in September (start date TBD). Students are tutored either one-on-one or in a small group with two tutors. Any students in grades K-12 can receive tutoring, and the cost is $175 per child. We also offer payment plans and some scholarships.

Interested families can apply by submitting the paperwork below as soon as possible:

Tutors are undergraduate students seeking their elementary teaching credential. Tutors are simultaneously tutoring and completing coursework in literacy assessment and instruction. They are provided constant support and feedback by the supervisor team throughout tutoring, and will conduct an assessment of each child’s literacy skills at the beginning of the term.
