Alumna Robin Hausheer ’15 receives Professional Award

Congratulations to Boise State University alumna Dr. Robin Hausheer ’15, a recipient of the 2019 NARACES New Professional of the Year Award.

This award recognizes a counselor educator who has made significant contributions to teaching, service, and research. In addition, she was selected in recognition of the support of colleagues and students to her teaching, evidence of a productive track of research throughout various venues, and involvement in service and organizations that promote the field of counselor education.

Robin Hausheer, Ed.D., N.C.C., L.P.C. (Idaho), holds a doctorate in Education Curriculum and Instruction with a cognate in Counselor Education and Supervision from the Boise State University College of Education.

She currently is an assistant professor of counselor education and the addictions treatment certification coordinator at Plymouth State University.

Hausheer will be accepting the award during a presentation at the 2019 ACES Conference NARACES Meeting in Seattle, Washington held Oct. 10-13.
