Expertscape database names Turner a ‘World Expert in Schools’

Lindsey Turner, research professor and Director of the Center for School and Community Partnerships has been designated as a “World Expert in Schools” by Expertscape, an online search database that features objective rankings of people and institutions by their expertise in over 29,000 biomedical and research topics.

Turner was designated as a World Expert by placing in the top 0.1% of searches for scholars writing about schools over the past ten years in Expertscape’s PubMed-based algorithms. Turner’s research is focused on building partnerships with schools to create settings that support the physical, social and emotional well-being of students and educators. Expertscape’s announcement of Turner’s designation coincided with the International Day of Education on January 24th.

Users can search the Expertscape database for experts on a wide range of science and biomedical topics for interviews, consulting and collaboration.
