Executive Education student receives Idaho GEM Award for Instructional Leadership

Jenni Jacobson, current student in the Executive Educational Leadership program received the Idaho GEM Award for Instructional Leadership on March 4. Jacobson is the principal at Hollister Elementary in Hollister, Idaho.

The annual award recognizes educators in Idaho who show exemplary work and dedication in instructional leadership, distinguished service and administration. The award is given by the Idaho Association of School Administrators.

The Executive Educational Leadership program at Boise State certifies graduates to become superintendents in Idaho and prepares working educators for leadership positions where they can use their skills and knowledge to make informed decisions affecting education policy and practice.
