Pancake tailgate brings college alumni to campus

The College of Education hosted its first-ever alumni pancake tailgate September 16.

College of Education alumni were invited to gather at the Alumni and Friends center on the morning of September 16th for a blue and orange pancake breakfast tailgate hosted by College of Education Dean James Satterfield, ahead of Boise State Bronco football’s victory over the North Dakota Fighting Hawks. The college plans to host a similar event each fall at a home football game.

Stephanie Lewis, (BA, elementary education, 2015), who was featured in the Spring 2023 issue Boise State magazine, attended the tailgate and was honored with her family at halftime as part of the Blue Turf Thinking campaign. Lewis teaches in Prairie, Idaho’s one-room schoolhouse.
