Internships
In the School of the Environment, students gain valuable experience through internships and partnerships with public, private and nonprofit organizations.
Looking for an internship? Check out the Career Services Handshake site and keep an eye on the School of the Environment Canvas page for weekly postings of experiential learning opportunities, like internships, undergraduate research opportunities and other positions. If you don’t know how to access the Canvas site, reach out to Kevin Feris.
Do you want to learn more about the internship process in general? Or are you ready to apply to have an off-campus internship count for university credit? Contact the internship coordinator, Kevin Feris, for more information or visit the Career Services website.
Mentorships
The School of the Environment’s Professional Mentoring Initiative connects students with mentors who have experience in environmental-related professions. A mentoring relationship can open doors, from learning about a particular industry to charting a path to a dream job.
