Recently Boise State Rocket League teams Blue and Orange competed against some of the best teams in the nation in the NECC tournament, both Blue and Orange teams played phenomenally and like winners. The most outstanding result was from BSU team Orange made up of “Toxiic”, “Thunderama”, and “Circuit”. They made it all the way into the finals in their division and faced down Missouri Baptist University. While both teams played outstandingly, MBU ultimately took home the victory. A truly impressive performance from both teams we have much to look forward too from our titan of a team Orange.
Equally impressive however is BSU team Blue compromised of “Cosmobuster”, “Instinqt”, “Baynoc”, and “AcePocket”. BSU team Blue played this tournament dominantly but ultimately would end their tournament run in the semifinals where they would be taken down by Lincoln Land Community College. LLC and BSU both went into this tournament confident and ready to bring home a win, the competition was present and intense. Likewise too team Orange, expect great things to come from team Blue and never count them out.
Boise State University Esports athletes are always hungry to win and it shows in their sportsmanship in game and eagerness to learn in practice. With each win and loss our students work their hardest to better themselves and each other, teams Blue and Orange are no exception. they will be back at the next competition looking to win and learn as always and they will continue to impress us with their tournament results and raw talent.
