Chief Financial Officer
Boise State University relaunched a national search for its next Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer (VP-CFO) following the arrival of President David Hahn and finalists for the position will visit campus the week of Nov. 2, 2026.
Each finalist will participate in a campus open forum to share remarks about their experience and vision for the role, and take part in a question-and-answer session. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend and provide feedback as part of this important leadership search.
All forums will be held in person at 10 a.m. Locations vary by day. Select a date below to add the forum to a Google Calendar. Candidate bios and other supporting information is also available for Faculty, staff and students (must be logged in with Boise State credentials).

Provost
In Spring 2026, Boise State initiated preparation for a national search for our next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. In April and May of 2026, the university hosted listening sessions for faculty and staff. Additionally, through a campus survey, feedback was collected and nominations solicited for the search committee and other search-related roles.
There will be additional, more targeted engagement opportunities with key stakeholder groups, including the executive team, deans and provost direct reports in January 2027.
