Provost
Faculty input is vital for the President to define the position profile for the Provost that is informed by the needs and culture of Boise State, and we want to gather that input early, before the new President arrives. Initial faculty listening sessions will be held via Zoom during the final weeks of the semester:
- Faculty Listening Session: 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 30
- Faculty Listening Session: 11 a.m. on Monday, May 11
Additional listening sessions for staff, administrators and other stakeholder groups will be scheduled and announced to the entire campus community.
In addition, a brief feedback survey is now available to collect input from across campus. This survey will remain open until 5 p.m. Monday, June 1.
A separate nomination form is available for those who wish to recommend individuals for possible participation on the search committee or in other roles related to the Provost search.
Chief Financial Officer
Boise State University will extend the search process for its next Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer until a new university president is hired.
This decision aligns with feedback received from the campus community, applicants and the search firm related to timing of the search.
The Idaho State Board of Education announced in March that its goal is to identify and appoint Boise State’s next president in time for the start of the fall semester.
The university extends appreciation to Stacy Pearson for continuing to serve as interim CFO as the search continues, as well as to faculty, staff and students who have engaged with the search process and provided valuable feedback.
