The Beverly Miller Endowed Lectureship in Gender Studies

Beverly A. Miller was a long-time employee of Boise State University, serving as Head Research Librarian until her retirement in 2007. Beverly was an advocate and promoter of women’s rights and, upon her passing, she left provisions in the Beverly A. Miller Trust for a charitable distribution to the Boise State University Gender Studies program.

This generous gift established the Beverly Miller Endowed Lectureship in Gender Studies specifically as a resource to remove barriers and change those social conditions which constrain, inhibit, or impede free and full expression and involvement of women in society.

The Gender Studies program invites and encourages others to make additional investments in the Beverly A. Miller Endowed Lectureship in Gender Studies to provide students essential preparation and a balanced educational experience in gender-related issues.
