Gene Harris All Stars Program

The Gene Harris All-Stars Jazz program is an after-school program designed for high school students who want to be more engaged with jazz performances in the Treasure Valley.

This audition-only program is open to a select group of students who will be required to attend rehearsals every other week during the school year. These rehearsals are coached by local jazz professionals, and students will get to interact with many other jazz professionals from the region and country.

The All-Stars will perform several concerts per year including a featured performance at the Gene Harris Jazz Festival. The All-Star program is forming partnerships with local jazz organizations in order to provide exclusive opportunities for the All-Star students. These may include concert tickets, masterclasses, lessons, and side-by-side performances.
