The LeaderShape Institute Packing Guidelines

To help you prepare for your LeaderShape Institute experience, we put together a list of clothing items and supplies. While we can provide packing recommendations, only you know what makes you comfortable. Please come prepared.  Also, please do not over-pack: space is limited and you’ll be sharing lodging with other students. We recommend 1 small bag (carry on size) and 1 bag for bedding/pillow.

Cell phone use will be permitted, but only during free time and time for permitted activities (there is limited reception with wi-fi available in the main lodge ).
DO NOT BRING a personal computer or any drugs/alcoholic beverages.

Necessary Items (for a four-day trip):
4 pairs of comfortable casual clothes: (shorts, pants, jeans & t-shirts, short sleeve shirts)
5 changes of underwear
5 pairs of socks
1 pair of headphones
1 pair of shoes/sneakers
1 casual belt (if needed)
1 change of “grungy” clothes for outdoor activities
1 pair of close-toed shoes (sneakers) for outdoor activities
1 Blue & Orange or Boise State outfit: (Boise State t-shirt, blue sweater, orange scarf, etc.)
1 pair of pajamas
1 sweatshirt or sweater (It will be cold still.)
1 light rain jacket or poncho
1 pair of sunglasses
1 week of prescription medication (if needed)
1 set of personal toiletries: (toothbrush/paste, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, comb/brush, etc.)
1 Towel
1 Sleeping Bag/Bed Linens (Cabins are heated, but it can still get chilly.)
1 Pillow
1 water bottle
1 pair of shower shoes
1 flashlight
ID Card (Driver’s license preferred or Student ID Card)
Phone and phone charger

Optional Items:
Bathrobe/Slippers
Camera
Journal
Personal Snacks (some snacks will be provided)
Sunscreen
Mittens
Scarf
Beanie or Knit Cap

*Medication (allergy, cold, nausea, headache): Bring based on how you feel prior to the leaving.

Please note that there is no laundry site available for use during the institute.
