The Grammy award winning artist MNDR visited the GIMM lab on Monday, December 5th, 2022. MNDR is working with a group of students in Professor Karen Doty’s GIMM 480 Senior Capstone class, part of the Games, Interactive Media & Mobile Technology (GIMM) to produce new virtual reality experiences for her latest album, “Hell to Be You Baby”. MNDR and GIMM students hope to chart new territory in the music industry by releasing a Virtual Reality experience around her single “Dove”. Look for a release of the project in spring 2023.
Besides meeting with GIMM senior development teams, MNDR also gave a talk to the entire major on the creative process and the music industry.
