Note: Please make sure your Appointment of Supervisory Committee has been turned in well before this date; the Supervisory Committee form must be turned in before the Application for Admission to Candidacy form.

Last day to submit an advisor-approved copy of thesis or dissertation, along with signed Defense Committee Approval, Access Agreement for a Thesis or Dissertation, and Thesis/Dissertation Checklist forms, to the Graduate College to receive a thesis/dissertation credit enrollment waiver for August 2024.

Last day to apply for graduation for graduate and undergraduate degrees and certificates to be awarded in August 2024. Students apply for graduation on myBoiseState. Late applications will be accepted but a late fee will be assessed.

Recommended last day to defend thesis/dissertation (provide Graduate Defense Notification to Graduate College at least 2 weeks prior).

Last day to add graduate dissertation, thesis, project, or portfolio credit.

Last day to submit advisor-approved version of thesis/dissertation to the Graduate College via ProQuest. The thesis/dissertation copy submitted for review must be defended and submitted with Defense Committee Approval, Access Agreement for a Thesis or Dissertation, and Thesis/Dissertation Checklist forms.
Note: Once you have defended your thesis/dissertation and have incorporated the changes requested by your committee, upload your advisor-approved version to ProQuest. This advisor-approved version will not be accepted after July 5, 2024. You cannot graduate without the review and approval of your thesis/dissertation by the Graduate College.
