The Graduate Council supervises all graduate offerings at Boise State University. It reviews curricular changes to ensure they are compatible with existing programs, feasible under given circumstances, and consistent with the University’s educational objectives under state and federal law. The council also oversees Graduate College policy and procedures.
Curriculum Deadlines
- November 1: Deadline for program changes to be included in the next catalog (no exceptions)
- February 1: Deadline for course changes to be included in summer/fall continuing student registration (no exceptions)
These are Graduate Council deadlines. Individual colleges or academic units may set earlier internal deadlines to allow time for review before Graduate Council submission.
All curriculum items must be received by the Graduate Council Secretary at least two weeks before the meeting date where they will be considered.
