Boise Parks and Recreation and the St Luke’s Rehab – Adaptive Sports Clinic – Volunteers Needed!
The date of the clinic is Saturday, January 25 from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. A flyer is attached but specifically, we would ‘assign’ them to a youth with a physical disability to help with:
10:30-11:30 a.m. – swimming in the Pool at St. Luke’s Rehab (only if the Service Learning Student feels comfortable in the water)
11:45 a.m.-3:30 p.m. – lunch (provided) and wheelchair sports in the gym at Fort Boise Community Center.
We will have coaches and staff who will be teaching the sports, but we need volunteers to help each person out as needed.
