Call for Applications – 2017 Osher Institute Faculty Grant

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Boise State invites full-time tenured, tenure-track and research faculty to apply for grants of up to $5,000 to support research, projects or scholarly work.

The application deadline is March 1.

The Osher Faculty Grant is supported by the generosity of the Osher Institute and its members for the benefit of Boise State faculty. Funding is intended to defray expenses related to the proposed project; it is not a stipend. This is the fifth year of the Osher Faculty Grant program, which has awarded a total of $69,000 since it was established.

Past recipients include Andrew Finstuen, Cheryl Jorcyk, Peter Mulner and Linda Marie Zaerr.

The Osher Institute is a membership-based, lifelong learning program for intellectually curious adults age 50 and older. It is offered through the Division of Extended Studies and offers a variety of college-level, noncredit lectures, short courses, trips, and special events.
