Randy Magen, director and professor for the School of Social Work, was quoted in a Center for Digital Education article discussing the changes in online curriculum seen across universities in response to technology advancements.

It has become increasingly important for rural states, like Idaho, to provide students with more online and local educational and internship opportunities. “We know the best way to serve places is to train the local people, the people who have roots there, the people who have family there, because they’re going to stay there,” Magen said.
