eQIP Supports Faculty in Online Teaching

More than 60 individuals participated in eQIP professional development offerings over the past few months for help with building, teaching and/or improving fully online courses. Among them, 15 were College of Health Sciences faculty.

eCampus Course Design and Development Seminar (eCD2S)

For first-time eQIP participants, or for courses that were developed prior to fall 2012, this seminar offers expert guidance through an up-to-date process of creating a new course or redesigning an existing one.

  • Fall 2016: Sept. 6-Dec. 3
  • Spring 2017: Jan. 23-April 22

eCampus Facilitated Course Development (eCD)

For faculty who have designed a course in eCD2S since fall 2012, this offering also includes expert guidance for building or redesigning an online course.

  • Fall 2016: Sept. 19-Nov. 12
  • Spring 2017: Feb. 6-April 8

eCampus Teaching Online Seminar (eTOS)

For faculty who will be teaching online within the next two semesters and have access to a fully developed online course site, this seminar covers best practices for delivering an online course.

  • Fall 2016: Sept. 6-Oct. 16 or Oct. 17-Dec. 4
  • Spring 2017: Jan. 23-March 5 or Feb. 27-April 16
