Joie Burns, MS, RT(R)(S), RDMS, RVT, Department of Radiologic Sciences, authored two chapters in a recently published textbook, “Diagnostic Medical Sonography: Abdomen and Superficial Structures.” The third edition of this book was published in February by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. Burns’ chapters cover the peritoneal cavity and the retroperitoneum.
